🥘 Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 200g flour
  • 150g butter
  • 150g powdered sugar
  • 150g ripe apricots
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of almond extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Liquid caramel for decoration

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the ripe apricots into small cubes and mixing them with the vanilla sugar.
  2. Use an electric mixer to work the butter and powdered sugar until the mixture becomes creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, then add the baking powder, almond extract, salt, and sifted flour.
  3. Incorporate the apricot cubes into the previous ingredients and work the mixture until it becomes homogeneous.
  4. Butter and flour a cake pan, then pour the preparation into it.
  5. Preheat your oven to 180°C and bake the cake for 40 minutes. Let it cool before unmolding.
  6. Decorate the cake with liquid caramel to add a note of sweetness and caramel.
