Beignets of Turkey with Garlic Sauce, a delicious combination of flavors that unite the East and the West! 🥘 Ingredients

  • 400g of turkey fillets
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger, grated
  • Salt
  • Frying batter
  • 150g of flour
  • 1/2 packet of baking powder
  • 10cl of water
  • 1 egg white, beaten stiff
  • Salt, pepper
  • Garlic sauce
  • 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • Salt

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cut the turkey fillet into thin strips 2 cm wide and 5 cm long, about the size of a finger.
  2. Put the grated ginger in a bowl, add the vinegar, soy sauce, and salt. Add the turkey strips and mix well, then let marinate for 4 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Prepare the garlic sauce: pour the mayonnaise into a bowl, add the chopped garlic, lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, then slowly add the oil and whisk until you have a mayonnaise using a manual or electric whisk.
  4. Prepare the frying batter: mix the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and water until smooth. Carefully fold in the beaten egg white.
  5. Dip the marinated turkey strips in the frying batter, then immerse them in hot oil to fry until they are golden. Drain them on absorbent paper.
  6. Serve the warm turkey beignets with garlic sauce.
