  • 500g of butter
  • 250g of powdered sugar
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 2 packets of baking powder
  • flour as needed for mixing
  • 1 small pot of apricot jam

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Begin by working the butter with the powdered sugar until a smooth and creamy cream is obtained, then incorporate the egg yolks one at a time, the baking powder and sifted flour gradually, mix well and knead the dough until it is homogeneous.
  2. Cut the dough into several lumps.
  3. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of 3mm, and using a round cookie cutter, cut the dough into rounds. After that, use another round cookie cutter of sewing machine shape to pierce the rounds, then place them on a buttered tray, continue the operation until the dough is used up.
  4. Bake the biscuits in a moderate oven for 15 minutes.
  5. Spread the jam on the unpierced biscuits and cover them with the pierced biscuits, continue the operation until the biscuits are used up.
  6. Store them in a well-sealed box.
