Beef with Pineapple and Soy
Here is the culinary secret that combines the exotic flavors of Asia with the sweetness of Western countries! The Beef with Pineapple and Soy, a savory dish originating from the Asian continent, has seen evident success in North American and European cuisines.
🥘 Ingredients
- 800g beef fillet cut into slices
- 1 pineapple
- 200g soybean sprouts (from a can)
- 1 green pepper
- 100g black mushrooms
- 3 tsps soy sauce
- 3 tsps cornstarch
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsps vinegar
- 2 tsps powdered sugar
- 4 tbsp peanut oil
- 1 glass of water
👨🍳 Instructions
- In a bowl, mix half of the cornstarch, soy sauce, and ground ginger together. Add the beef slices and let marinate for 30 minutes.
- Peel the entire pineapple, cut it into slices after removing the core and seeds. Drain and rinse the soybean sprouts well.
- Heat peanut oil in a large pan or wok.
- Add the peeled and crushed garlic, then add the well-drained beef slices. Cook for 3-4 minutes over high heat.
- Add the green pepper slices, pre-soaked black mushrooms, and pineapple cubes next. Cook for 5 minutes over high heat.
- Add the soybean sprouts and cook for another 10 minutes on medium heat.
- While cooking, prepare the sauce: put the remaining cornstarch, salt, balsamic vinegar, sugar, and a glass of water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes.
- Just before serving, distribute the contents of the pan onto serving plates and pour the pineapple and soy sauce over it.
