🥘 Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 125g butter
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 100g ground almonds
  • Apricot jam
  • 1 tablespoon orange flower water
  • Flour according to the mix

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat butter, vanilla sugar, and powdered sugar until they form a creamy and smooth mixture. Add oil and mix well, then add eggs one at a time while continuing to work the mixture to achieve a homogeneous texture. Add cornstarch, baking powder, and sifted flour in small quantities, kneading until you obtain a soft and smooth dough.
  2. Roll the dough into oval-shaped balls and place them on a tray lined with baking paper. Use a fork to gently press each ball until it is flat and uniform.
  3. Preheat your oven to 180°C and place the biscuits inside, baking for 15 minutes or until the top is golden and crisp. Allow them to cool on a wire rack.
  4. Mix apricot jam with orange flower water to achieve a smooth texture.
  5. Stick two biscuits together using jam as glue, continuing until all biscuits are used up.
  6. Store the biscuits in an airtight container to keep their crunch.
