- 125 grams softened butter
- 1 egg and 1 egg yolk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Lemon zest
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1.5 cups coconut
- Flour (as per the recipe’s blend)
- Filling
- White chocolate
- Silver dragees for decoration
👨🍳 Instructions
- Start by creaming together softened butter and sugar in a bowl until they form a creamy mixture. Add oil, then egg and egg yolk, mixing well while adding lemon zest, lemon juice, and baking powder. Continue to work the mixture until it becomes creamy. Gradually add sifted flour until you have a smooth and pliable dough.
- Form small balls (like cherries) with the dough and place each ball into a flower-shaped mold. Press down on the ball to take the shape of the mold and remove from the mold. Repeat this process for all the remaining balls and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until the biscuits turn a light golden-pink color.
- Melt white chocolate over a double boiler.
- Place a dollop of melted white chocolate in the center of each biscuit and decorate with silver dragees.
