That’s why I am sharing with you today the recipe for these coconut chocolate truffles, a local specialty that combines sweet flavors with refined nuances to offer an unforgettable treat.

🥘 Ingredients

  • 500g shredded coconut
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 250g dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Small paper cups

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Put the shredded coconut in an electric food processor and grind it until a fine powder forms.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the coconut powder and sweetened condensed milk, mix and work the dough until it becomes homogeneous and smooth. Then, refrigerate it for 20 minutes.
  3. Form small balls of cooked coconut mixture in the bowl, about the size of a cherry.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate over a double boiler, add 2 tablespoons of oil to smooth the melted chocolate. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and remove it with a toothpick. Place each ball into a small paper cup and decorate it with shredded coconut.
  5. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
