🥘 Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb (350 gr) of ground beef
  • 4 scented mushrooms
  • 2 carrots cut into julienne
  • 1 onion cut into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch or cassava flour
  • 1 egg, salt
  • 1/3 cup (100 ml) of water
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of peanut oil
  • Shallots cut into small pieces (optional)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Rinse the mushrooms in hot water, soak for 30 minutes, squeeze out excess water, and cut into small pieces.
  2. Add the mushrooms to the ground beef mixture, followed by the onions, carrots julienne, shallots (optional), cornstarch or cassava flour, egg, water, peanut oil, soy sauce, and salt. Mix well to create a uniform preparation.
  3. Form meatballs using this meat mixture.
  4. Fry the meatballs in hot peanut oil over medium heat.
  5. To serve
  6. Prepare the following sauce:
  7. Mix cornstarch or cassava flour with 2 tablespoons of clam juice and 1/2 cup (125 ml) of water, adding salt as needed. Pour the mixture into a saucepan over medium heat, stirring continuously until it begins to boil.
  8. Pour the sauce over the meatballs for an irresistible plate!
