Here is a dessert that will make you dream! Originating from Asia, this delicious apricot cake recipe will allow you to combine the French flavors of puff pastry with the subtle notes of apricots in syrup with orange juice. 🥘 Ingredients

  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 1/2 can of apricots in syrup
  • Orange cream
  • 50g of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 25cl of orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, put the egg, sugar, and mix until the mixture whitens, add the cornstarch and stir vigorously to prevent lumps from forming, add orange juice gradually while continuously stirring.
  2. Cook the cream over low heat while stirring constantly until the first boil.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut circles with a round cutter.
  4. Place the circles of puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 210°C.
  6. Spread the circles of puff pastry with a layer of orange cream and fill them with half apricots, sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
  7. Serve cold.
