🥘 Ingredients

  • 24 cannellonis
  • 500g ground meat
  • 500g mushrooms
  • 6 tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 onions
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 80g Parmesan
  • 100g grated Gruyère
  • 1 tablespoon chopped basil
  • 2 eggs
  • 40g butter
  • Salt, pepper

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Boil the cannellonis for 2 minutes in a pot of salted boiling water, rinse under cold water, drain.
  2. Cut the mushrooms into thin slices, sauté in a pan with butter.
  3. Wash, peel, and seed the tomatoes, roughly crush them.
  4. Melt the chopped onions in butter, add the crushed garlic, then add the ground meat, cook while stirring occasionally, season with salt and pepper, add the crushed tomatoes and diluted tomato paste in a little water, heat the mixture again for 20 minutes, add beaten eggs, chopped basil, and Parmesan, mix well.
  5. Fill each cannelloni with the stuffing, place them next to each other in a buttered baking dish, cover with the remaining sauce, arrange the golden mushroom slices on top, sprinkle grated Gruyère on top.
  6. Bake in a moderately hot oven for 25 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately.
