You are ready to enjoy an exceptional tasting! This World Tart recipe, inspired by the Mediterranean region, is a journey to a dreamland. With its raw flaky pastry as the base, it combines the exotic flavors of pineapples and black olives, those of grated mozzarella and tomatoes, to offer you a delight to share with your loved ones.

🥘 Ingredients

  • Flaky pastry
  • 1 can of pineapples
  • 1 onion
  • 5 grated tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 100g of grated mozzarella
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 50g of black olives
  • Salt, pepper

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Peel the onion and cut it into thin rounds. Separate the rings with your fingers.
  2. Wash and seed the green bell pepper, then cut it into rounds.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan, add the grated tomatoes, 1 tablespoon of tomato paste, salt, and pepper. Cook at low heat until a thick sauce is obtained.
  4. Roll out the flaky pastry to a thickness of 3mm, cut this roll-out into squares using a pastry cutter. Place them on an oiled tray, cover them with tomato sauce. Place the onion rings, bell pepper rounds, and half of the pineapple rounds, as well as the black olives, on top. Sprinkle with grated mozzarella.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C until the pastry is golden.
  6. Serve immediately.
