🥘 Ingredients

  • 6 Arabic breads
  • 500g chicken breasts, boneless and sliced very thinly
  • 500g natural yogurt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Spices for Shawarma
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup oil
  • Nutmeg
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 sliced onion
  • Chopped pickles
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • Salt, pepper

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. In a casserole dish, place the chicken pieces, add the chopped onion, 1 tablespoon of spices for Shawarma, olive oil, oil, grated nutmeg, salt. Pour 500ml of water and bring to a boil. Let cook until the water is completely evaporated, then stir with a wooden spoon over low heat for 5 minutes.
  2. For the Shawarma sauce preparation, in a large bowl, mix the yogurt, sour cream, 1 teaspoon of spices for Shawarma, vinegar, salt, pepper.
  3. Stuff the Arabic bread (make a hole in the middle) with the chicken filling, the Shawarma sauce, slices of tomatoes, onions, and pickles.
  4. Roll the stuffed bread like a cigar.
  5. Serve immediately.
